Frequently Asked Questions
Find quick answers to common questions about NuGreen's cement technology.
NuGreen's cement reduces carbon emissions by eliminating traditional Portland clinker, which is the primary source of CO₂ in conventional cement. Instead, it uses fly ash and ground blast furnace slag as binders, activated at ambient temperature. This eliminates the high-temperature kiln process that causes limestone calcination — the most carbon-intensive step in cement manufacturing.
Yes. NuGreen cement is fully compatible with standard concrete mixing, pumping, placing, and finishing equipment. It integrates seamlessly with ready-mix trucks, conventional formwork, curing processes, and placement tools — requiring no changes to typical construction workflows. Importantly, batch plants do not need any additional equipment or modifications. NuGreen's dry materials can be handled, stored, and blended using existing silos, hoppers, and batching systems, allowing for a direct drop-in replacement with minimal operational disruption.
